Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)

The Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to promoting sustainable managed forests in North America.

 

As part of our strong commitment to sustainability, Terrace Paper complies with the regulations of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).

 

We have been audited by SGS, a third party certification service, to obtain the chain of custody for responsible fiber sourcing SFI certification.

 

All paper and board manufactured by Terrace Paper Company is SFI certified or 100% recycled. SFI material is well marked and separated from non SFI certified material. We utilize and track all required systems and guidelines set forth by the SFI program. Our purchase orders, load tags and invoices clearly identify SFI materials.

 

The management at Terrace Paper Company is committed to protecting the environment and ensuring that it only purchases raw materials from non-controversial sources. This commitment gaurantees regulatory and legal requirements are understood and appropriately addressed.
